Buying Packing Materials From Pooley Removals
Are you planning on moving home? Or just having a sort out at home? Pooley Removals can help by supplying you with packing materials. We can supply you with a range of packing materials from mattress bags, wardrobe cartons, to a standard box. We can even arrange delivery! Here are some of the products that we sell.
Packing Boxes
We can supply boxes for owner packing. We sell 2 sizes of boxes: a smaller box that measures 33 x 47 x 31 cm and a larger box that measures 45 x 55 x 39 cm. Each of these boxes come in bundles of 15 but we are happy to break down these bundles to the exact amount you need. The boxes are double walled, so they are durable, strong, and perfect for storing effects for long periods of time.
Tape
We also supply tape. As a removal company we have tried many different brands of tape and we have established the best tape on the market. The tape we supply is robust and fit for purpose. We always recommend with heavy boxes to always tape the underside twice to ensure the bottom doesn’t fall out.
Packing Paper
Are you packing fine china or other breakables, we can supply you with specialist packing paper for the optimal protection. A tip from us is that not only do you want to wrap the goods in paper, but you will also need to scrunch the paper around the goods to ensure it cannot move about in the box or rub up against other items in the box. We can also supply acid free paper for any items that need extra care such as silver.
Wardrobe Cartons
Wardrobe cartons are perfect to store any hanging clothes in. With a clothes rail that goes across the top of the boxes, it couldn’t be easier to transfer your clothes from your wardrobe into a box. As the clothes are still hanging in the box, they remain crease free.
Bedding Bags
These bags are perfect for any soft furnishings such as cushions, soft toys, towels and bedding. They are 36” x 40” and made out of recycled plastic. These bags are much thicker and offer greater protection then any bin bag.
Mattress Bags
We supply 3 different sizes of mattress bags: 3’6” single, 5ft king size (which can also be used on double mattresses) and a 6ft super king mattress bag. Each of these polythene mattress bags are heavy duty. We recommend using these mattress bags whenever you move your mattress to protect it from dirt and grime.
Export Wrap & Bubble Wrap
We can supply 2 types of wrapping either furnisoft or bubble wrap. Bubble wrap is perfect for smaller ornate items that just need an extra layer of protection in transit. We highly recommend furnisoft for antique or delicate furniture. Furnisoft is specifically designed to protect furniture. With the same protective qualities of bubble wrap to protect from knocks and bumps, it also has a polyethylene outer film with a soft woven polypropylene layer, which protects your furniture much more sufficiently than bubble wrap.
